The privacy of our users is incredibly important to us and we want you to be in complete control of your privacy settings. Our Privacy Statement sets out full details about who we are and how we maintain your privacy. We’d recommend giving it a read before using our ‘Pollpass Platform’.
We’ve tried to make everything which follows as clear and as simple as possible, but of course , if you have questions, please e-mail us at: email@example.com and we’ll be happy to help
What do you mean by privacy?
When we refer to your privacy, we are referring to the collection and use of any ‘personal data’ about our users. That includes any information that might identify an individual (such as a name, address and often your IP address).
What information may we collect from you?
What do we do with information collected from you?
The information we collect from you is used by our customers to help them understand consumer behaviour. This includes, but is not restricted to:
- Helping brands to understand their consumers
- Helping website owners to understand their users
- Helping brands and website owners understand the effectiveness of their marketing campaigns
Please note that your information will be anonymised before it is shared with third parties. Pollpass may however contact you with details of products and offers, unless you have told us not to. More information about our use of your information can be found here.
What about the security of my information?
The security of your information is really important to us. At times your information may be transferred outside the USA and European Economic Area (EEA) where the privacy laws may be less stringent than in your country. When this occurs we take steps to protect your information and your rights. Further details on such steps are set out here.
Will you share my information with anyone?
We may supply your data alongside hundreds of thousands of other users’ information to our customers. Where possible such information shall be anonymised as our customers are interested in general trends rather than specific individuals. However, despite our best efforts it may be possible for our customers to use the information we provide to identify you. The reason is that we can never fully know what other information a customer already holds about you. More details on this and other areas where we may share your information are set out here.
Anything else I should know?
You are in control of the information we have about you. You can ask us to stop using your information at any time. More details about your rights and how to find out more are set out here.
